Your child or teen wants friends. But knowing how to connect, join in, keep a conversation going, and turn time together into friendship doesn’t always come naturally.
Simply Social Kids weekly social groups gives kids, teens, and young adults a place to practice socializing with real peers in real situations, with support and coaching along the way.
Fall enrollment is now open.
Simply Social Kids isn’t a class where kids sit and talk about social skills for an hour.
Our groups are active, engaging, and built around games, activities, conversation, and spending time with peers.
We provide short lessons when they’re helpful, but most of the learning happens while participants are actually socializing.
That’s when our coaches can help in the moment with things like:
Our groups are designed for children, teens, and young adults who want to connect with peers but may need some help figuring out how.
Participants may be socially awkward, shy or anxious, have ADHD or autism, or simply have difficulty making and keeping friends.
In-person groups meet at our center in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts — online groups are also available.
You can explain friendship to a child.
But eventually, they need opportunities to actually experience it.
Our groups give participants regular opportunities to talk, laugh, play games, work through uncomfortable moments, discover shared interests, and spend time with peers.
We start with a brief phone call so we can learn a little about your child or teen, what you’re looking for, and whether one of our groups may be a good match.
If it sounds like a fit, we’ll schedule a free trial group so they can experience Simply Social Kids before you decide whether to enroll.
