When a Bonk is Just a Bonk (and not an evil plan to destroy you…) New Video

When kids bonk their head or get hurt in some way, they tend to look around immediately for a scapegoat to blame. They might be feeling angry and want to target that anger toward another child. Pain can bring on rush of feelings in a child. Kids who have sensory issues might feel the pain more strongly than those without this challenge. They also are likely surprised but something that they didn’t expect.

In this moment, if they react too quickly, they are likely to hurt friendships with their reaction.

Check out our strategy to help kids to give their thoughts pause.
